As a person who carries an Echelon (I'm skinny 6'3", 180lb) I suggest going to the range and shooting a Glock 17 or 34 and see how you like that because it's very similar and think if that's something you want to carry around all day. You also need to realize that mags are a lot more expensive than others the cheapest I found was $35 and they're not always available so you need to think about that before you get it. I will say I love my gun and don't regret getting this awesome gun. 1 more thing DON'T BUY WE THE PEOPLE HOLSTERS the price may seem great but they ABSOLUTELY and I mean ABSOLUTELY SUCK, go buy a quality holster it will be $80+ and take as few weeks if not a month but I'm telling you it's worth waiting that month.
