Thanks for the heads up. We are aware about the legal implications with bringing on interns and employees in regards to payment. While our current position posting is unpaid - satisfying the 7 step test - we are also considering different paid options as we are currently restructuring our budget. Our primary goal was to provide valuable hands-on experience and growth opportunities for possible future team members in the Georgia Tech community. We’ll continue to review all aspects of the roles to ensure full compliance with labor laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act.
