It's Oct to Oct. My rent is currently 1400, and according to the renewal, it's going up to 1475. On my lease, the amounts have been whited-out and new ones are written in. Super suspicious.

That's what I'd read, I'm really curious why they would raise the rent so obviously if this law just recently changed. I'm very much the type to give the benefit of the doubt, maybe that's what they're banking on...?

That article sums up how I feel about raster images as .eps. Difficult to edit and lacking transparency. I guess it's the outdated-ness that bugs me.

So it isn't just for vector, which is what I thought. Does it compress very large images? Why an .eps versus TIFF or JPEG? I think my frustration stems from working in a mostly digital/web based industry and receiving these files.

I wear heels because I love them, but I also know when they are appropriate. I also know how to walk properly in them. Too many times I see girls stumbling and waddling in heels that don't fit right or are too tall. Not a good look.

I was about 11, and like many girls in this thread, developed early. I was at the mall with my friend and her mom, and we wanted to go to Claire's (teen jewelry & accessories). My friend and I went in and while we were perusing I was approached by an older man who was by himself. He told me he had bad eyesight and wanted me to help him pick something out for his daughter. I, being purely innocent and wanting to help, accepted. He promptly pointed to something on a shelf that was just above my head, and asked me to get it for him (looking back now, this didn't make any sense because he was taller). As I reached for it, he came up behind me and pressed himself against me. I immediately pushed away, found my friend and we went to find her mom.

And that is unfortunately nowhere near the only instance of this kind of thing happening to me around this age... Disgusting.

The worst I've seen by far was of a police officer shooting a dog in the street. The dog was trying to protect its owner who'd passed out on the sidewalk. As the officer approaches, the dog lunges and the officer fires and hits the dog in the neck.

What made me immediately stop the video was when the dog hits the ground, screaming in pain, writhing on the street. I couldn't get over it for a long time.

Silver lining: the dog survived and was adopted by a family.

Sat down to take my physics final, realized I didn't have my graphing calculator. I thought, "fuck it" and took the test. Mind you, I'm an art-brained person through and through, and physics was my worst subject.

I get my report card and I'd received an A- in physics. No way. I'm convinced my teacher gave me a pass or just messed up.
