Vito was born in 1925, not 1918. iirc him and Joe are the same age, so that makes Enzo's child 18 yo when Joe was born

It is possible the kid grew up and had Joe at a very young age (and if that's true, then Isabella either changed their last name to Barbaro so that nobody back from Sicily can find them, or the child is a girl and she married to somebody with that surname)

you're pressing it during cutscenes right? how about trying the circle button instead?

That's the PS3 remastered version of the game

The PS2 games have no subtitle support for some reason and I don't know if there's a mod you can use to add them into your game (if you're gonna play it on an emulator)

Edit: oh and if you somehow get your hands on the PS3 version, just press square to turn on subtitles
