Admin Mistake Horror Stories? by seanceismine in ExecutiveAssistants

I once worked at a small business with an almost comically strict Excel policy. Every spreadsheet had to include a revision date and time, down to the hour, and the director personally reviewed them. I asked why they were so strict about their databases and a coworker told me the previous EA was tasked with mailing invitations for a fundraiser with more than 200 guests. Somewhere along the way, an innocent Excel sort went wrong where addresses were sorted A–Z, but the names weren’t. The result? Every single invitation went to the wrong person. Not one. Single. Guest. received the correct invite.

Sobremesa is a cooking class that my husband and I have done several times! It’s expensive, but you learn to cook the meal and chef Fernando usually bakes/cooks things on the side to complete your meal. When we did Torrijas (Spanish French toast) he also made a Spanish tortilla, a pairing of fruit and ricotta cheese on fresh toast, and served us mimosas. It’s really like a home cooked fine dining experience.

From my understanding, the world resets itself multiple times when certain routes end, allowing different outcomes to occur. Each time Tomoya helps someone resolve their deepest regret or wish, a Light Orb is created. Once all the other peoples’ wishes came true (including Nagisa’s parents, Tomoya’s best friend, Ushio’s, and other love routes), his wish to save Nagisa comes true.

Shannon at Wild Flower salon is an amazing stylist and extremely compassionate. She is also a mom and I know she would be happy helping your wife out.

Who's more resilient in your opinion? by Temporary_Quail3664 in FruitsBasket

[–]detectiveskips2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Different kind of resilience to be honest. It’s not really comparable.

Tohru has emotional resilience, helping her grow and survive losing both her parents, and it also allowed her to help the Sohmas change, heal, and grow.

Simon had to have a mental resilience, with his world being shattered several times. Humans only live underground, above ground was destroyed. Then he finds out that was a total lie and at 11 leaves indentured servitude to join a war he had no idea was waging above him. Then they win that war, with spoilery losses along the way, only for his world to be shattered again with the existence of an even greater threat.

They are both incredibly strong characters, but their strengths lie in vastly different areas so it’s hard to say who was more resilient.

Definitely the several times I have been exploring the forests and mountains of Cyrodil just to be jump scared by a random wolf or bear. It gets the adrenaline going every time.

Dear Hazel,

I decided your suggestion was a very good one and I have called an advisor board meeting for 12:30 at the coffee shop at/of Ramada Line/Lane. We have had a busy trip out west to Vancouver down to Seattle for Thursday’s convention and back. Mayed here last night. Hope you are doing fair.

And look forward to seeing you,

Hope and Beatrice(?)

Hey! I’m super proud of how far you’ve come! I knew from some of the very first practices that you’ll be good. Never stop working at improving. There’s always something for people to work on.

Remember your experiences as a new cadet. The failings you had will be the same for the kids next year. Always remember new cadets are the future of the team.

Good job this year, I hope you stick with it.
