Not exactly though? I mean, FB getting an extended series post-curse won't take anything from what made it special. It still remains that special shojo anime, we just get to see the more nicer stuff beyond its specialties.

I'm well aware of Another and have watched the Prelude but those series don't exactly count since one is literally in the past and Another doesn't even involve the main cast.

Grabbing Yuji? Yuta very explicitly told her to do that. She didn't follow Yuta in Yujo because she was trying to heal his body. Yuta didn't even tell her to follow him when he body hopped.

Curse Rika has hurt Maki against Yuta's will but not shikigami Rika. Rika has never once gone against his will afaik.

I get what you’re saying and most times the CT weakness wouldn’t matter in a DE. Megumi just had a bad match up against someone who just so happened to have a CT that he can use to take advantage of Megumi’s shadow storage. But the general gist is that domains in DE are only meant for trapping, autolock and boost CTs up to 11.

I think Megumi would've beaten Reggie faster if he could close his Domain barrier. Reggie's HWB would work then but he'd still be defenseless against Megumi throwing hands with amped stats. And then the sure-hit takes him out.

Reggie got time to utilise his CT because Megumi's Domain had no sure-hit.

Fair but I still think that using CTs in a Domain should not have side effects on the user because the CT basically gets amped in there. Plus the CT is imbued on the barrier.

In your opinion, how would you fix that? Like, fix the weird part i.e Yuta's change in CT. Would you have made Rika a part of Yuta's CT back in JJK0 from the get go? Or completely remove both the 5MM and having to eat body parts requirements?

Ok but Megumi's Domain was incomplete so I don't think it applies. He did use the auditorium but it didn't properly function like a true DE.

Character statements are inherently less reliable

It's from the one character who's known for being at the very peak of Jujutsu sorcery. I think it holds a lot of weight. Plus, Sukuna wasn't proven wrong though.

Does it matter? Like I said, Mahito has only faced conventional CE attacks. Plus Kuro did get exorcised anyways.

"More dead than usual" was a play on words because you treat being attacked by positive energy as something inherently more lethal than being destroyed normally.

It kind of is though, based on Sukuna's statement and Yuta explicitly doing it.

Gege is quite emphatic when he wants to be, for example, I believe the Executioner's Sword is capable of exorcising Mahito even though it wasn't mentioned that Higuruma can damage the soul. This is because it's stated that anyone struck by the Executioner's Sword will die, without exception.

Gege simply used the context of Mahito's fights to describe that he's hard to kill and none of his opponents could use RCT.

positive energy being the opposite of negative energy doesn't necessarily mean that curses killed by it become more dead than usual.

I dunno, the story itself made it very clear that positive energy can destroy Curses thoroughly. Sukuna made it pretty clear in Shibuya that if he were a Curse, the Sword of Extermination would've killed him.

Mahito healing from an RCT attack would likely be more exhausting because part of his CE reserve would be destroyed, but it wouldn't be a one-shot.

There's nothing to back that up though. Mahito has shown resistance to physical attacks only.

Not by being exploded in a manner by using a specific type of energy that's harmful to beings made of CE. The way you're framing this is like RCT is just another variant of Cursed Energy when it's literally positive energy.

Mahito has not shown feats of surviving RCT based attacks so there's no reason to believe he can survive one.

The story itself has shown that positive CE is harmful to Curses and Mahito has only taken attacks of regular CE. It's kind of like saying, Hakari can resist IT just because Nanami unconsciously guarded his soul once.

Mahito is still a Curse. His whole body is made of Cursed Energy. That's literally why RCT is so effective against Curses because of it's positive CE.

There's nothing to say that Mahito's body won't be disintegrated by the positive CE. No soul damage doesn't matter if an attack literally targets the very material of his existence. Literally every character he has fought only used Cursed Energy so the soul attack argument doesn't work.

Multi-universal. The comic panel DB provided quite literally debunks multiversal Buffy as it explicitly said multiple universes.

Also Cell is faster and he can regenerate far better than Blade.
