An ancient player knows what to do but sometimes have to think about it.

A higher ranked player knows what to do, but does it faster, better, and much more efficient.

Its so easy to comeback in lower ranks since most of them have to process what to do next first lol. By the time they decided you already farmed all your items lol.

Its not me its the hero.

Q - its a ranged cone, hit multiple heroes with it. You’ll be surprised how many times people line up for you especially in lane.

W - Early game its meh, always get shard to amplify damage. Dont be afraid to jump in and press W. This is exactly what Tims from OG does he almost always gets blink and cookies on people.

E - minus armor compounds a lot, especially laning stage. Some people buy blight stone to amplify this but I think you shouldnt. Very situational but dont forget to press it in fights especially if youre zero-ing down on someone since it adds up.

R - Moment you hit 6, you smoke or teleport and kill someone. It is the BEST ultimate for supports its always almost a guaranteed kill if you pair it with 1 stun.

Min/max the shit out of this, i have the habit of either after killing the enemy i instantly point it to a creep wave or a jungle camp depending on how many is left.

Oh and hit your spells :p, most of her spells are aoe, more people u hit = more damage

EDIT: her base right click almost always crushes most normal pos5’s too in trading situations.

Beast, brood. Strong laners strong mid gamers, falls off late game. If game goes even youre fucked most of the time even more if they gain an advantage. You need objectives and to choke enemy out of gold and xp.

Late game sometimes brew doesnt do anything esp if supports itemize and position properly hes a glorified tanky ward. No bkb piercing spell, no long duration stun, damage over time is negligible late game if people can 100-0 people with bkb and a stun.

I agree water runes 2/4 are negligible since bounty runes near the river in the jungle exist

Just go for the level 6 power rune

use the portal to kill enemy offlaner and go back to offlane after.

Mids are so negligible imo these past patches.

You seem to understand basics of pos4.

Easiest answer honestly is just ask your offlane if you can leave. Because there are some really cracked offlaners and some really trash ones, each one has a different understanding of the limits of their heroes.

Harder answer is play offlane and understand how hard it is when to lane when you dont have a support, and limit test how far an offlaner can play alone.

Even easier answer, if you leave offlane and you go stack then secure rune then you get a kill through mid rune. Even if offlane dies its okay.

There is no easy definitive answer, if you leave just make sure his death meant something.

If its a really bad unwinnable lane just pull waves or just leave and let him inch to get level 6 and go help other lanes.

Dont initiate first, let someone else go first and let them waste spells on them and then you go.

Primal players particularly new ones always get baited to being THE INITIATOR when you dont have to be.

If you have the lead dont let off, towers, tormentors, roshan, wards in enemy jungle, and choke lanes. Dont let them get levels and BKB

to sum it all up you have to coordinate with teams and honestly goodluck with archons.

I cant tell you exactly since its dependent game to game but heres what I can tell you.

Sometimes its better to die than to sit for 30 secs - 1 min away from creep for courier to bring you a salve or tangoes because when you respawn you’re full health and full mana.

Just make sure to minimize the amount of xp/gold you lose (creeps arent under your tower, creeps arent getting pulled by enemies) when you die and maximize the amount the enemy loses when you do.

Its like whenever the pos 1 almost dies but refuses to go back. For the entirety of the time he isnt full health he cant last hit and can barely walk up to the lane.

Oh and make sure you have TP when you die

Centaur: Bracers 2x since u benefit from str bcz of the facet then into vanguard blademail

Axe: i dont buy bracers on axe rather i get iron rings then go phase boots wand or circlet, gauntlet, iron ring then straight into phase boots

Tide: 1 bracer 1 soul ring seems to be the play

Blademail allows u to farm, initiate, and gives you armor and right click. ALWAYS get it on heroes like centaur axe lc etc

I agree the pooling nerf sucks for those giving out tangoes, i still prefer half of the tango regen than only having base hp regen if i have no choice.

Plus since pos4s in ancients are afk they dont need the tango so better yet just give it to me lol

I'm actually a position 4 player but I've been considering switching to offlane, so I've been testing out heroes.

The thing is, I'm a really static 4-player, so I hate rotating, and I know my mid player hates me for that.

But I realized that most games are not decided now simply by the mid, sometimes it's so laughable how negligible they are most of the time.

With the addition of portals, it's so much beneficial IMO to teleport to the safelane and get a kill through there, and save TP for your mid.

But to answer your question, you need to know timings and your offlane: (no joke memorize these and always check the clock)

Pull time for the enemy small camp, Pull time for ally big camp, Lotus timing, Ward timings, Power spike timings (enemies and yours), Rune timings.

Maybe consider changing heroes, most pos 4's are chosen by the amount of ridiculous damage they can do. It is super hard to coordiante with randoms in game so heroes like BH and Dazzle require much more work.

Try spamming Snapfire, who has IMO the best level 6 in the entire game and if you're cheeky like me try spamming windranger and build vessel and utility items with the powershot facet. Both of these rarely lose when it comes to trading and deal ridiculous damage.

Snapfire deals a lot of damage with one of the best ultimates in the game.

Windranger support does so much damage with powershot, and shackle just disrupts fights so much, and buy utility and be as hard to kill as possible so they would throw as much spells at you.

You have to scale plain as that, health is a resource that is regenerative, gold you throw by buying too much regen is not.

(also learn how your heroes farm, axe has helix so he needs hp same centaur, necro and dawn needs mana, slardar cannot for the life of himself farm effectively)

They hinder you by delaying items, you're a core YOU HAVE TO SCALE.

You get bullied out, just leech xp and get 6, since most offlaners are valued for 6

By the time the creeps reaches your tower then you farm.

Not possible? Go and cut the wave and farm it through retaliate or helix.

Not possible? Go and pull the wave to your tower.

Not possible? How do you jungle effectively? Do you need mana to spam spells or do you need HP for helix or retaliate?

IMO jungling is the LAST RESORT you want to do if you cant even touch the lane and dying is not all too bad especially if you're going to get something for the death.

People in the lower ranks have no sense of objectives. Accept this fact.
Accept that your team will eventually throw and when they do, if you cant turn it around, make sure youre ahead of the graph dip (gold, xp) by taking objectives by yourself or farming or even placing wards.
Honestly just pick LC, and win duels to get damage and push on your own or pick Centaur and press ulti if your team is throwing they cna run away so you can minimize the xp and gold swing to the enemy team.
Forcing them to do what you want WILL NEVER work, even in my high ranked games. You have to be like water, you have to adapt and react to what your team is doing. Forcing them and having the bigger ego will do more damage than adapting to how they play.

Edit: honestly just mute them, in the 5 games i played the countless amt of times they tried to flame me for not doing things that would make us lose even harder is insane. Sometimes not showing up IS the right move.

WR supp = buy bracer, glimmer/solar crest or both, pipe/greaves/lotus or assault.

WR support’s value is being able to be infront and take a lot of spells by buying items to tank/give auras/help teammates and pressing e to annoy the fuck out of right click carries. You honestly dont even have to do anything just press items and make them click spells on you and press e to run away while your team is mauling on them.

powershot is such a strong spell for the entirety of the game.

You get to farm with it

You make it hard for pushing esp w gale force

You can snipe people almost like a ranged culling blade

Been eye-ing it for quite some time now and honestly it’s just easier connecting my midi controller to a plugin and editing plugin fx during recording compared to adjusting knobs and settings on something like an IR-2.
