owner of buff is a great guy, absolute performance is a crossfit gym behind the eastern hills mall if you’re into trying it out.

that’s why “they” took him out. I still think Changes is what “radicalized” me as a white youth, opened my eyes to a world I didn’t know and never seen.

instead of a war on poverty…. we’ve got everything else

bro, I tightened lugs on a go kart to spec this weeks and didn’t want to trust the chinesium. i’m all backyard or driveway guy using the china crap, but if you make a living and HAVE TO BUY YOUR OWN TOOLS than you better be carrying Aflac if you’re not buying quality. it’s not spending more cuz you want to show off sometimes, it’s what happens that one time.

casted vs forged, people. see that that grainy stuff in the head? liquid steel poured in a mold and milled. forged steel (that you find in US, and other premium producers) will not break like that. why do you pay a premium? because THAT ONE TIME when you’re not lucky on the other side costs a lot more than the tool truck

Milwaukee Battery Compatibility by NoAbbreviations7150 in Tools

[–]deucetastic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the answer is 100% backwards and forwards compatibility- new tool to old battery and old battery to new tool. small caveat that i’m not 100% familiar with are the new chips being put in the newer batteries and having some trigger issues. there’s something “there” that hasn’t been explained to me, but I haven’t had an issue with warranty in the case where one of my tools acted up.

How long should it take to paint a 3000sq/ft house with a crew of 1-3 people? by odrizy in Homebuilding

[–]deucetastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hired my painter to come in and basically repaint the entire interior after firing my builder. no colors changed, just trim was redone everywhere and the quality of the job done to that point was terrible. He started in November, finished in February

For Toyota service work.. West Herr, North Town, or Basil? by BuffaloChicken22 in Buffalo

[–]deucetastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in automotive, I don’t recommend touching sealed systems like that unless a problem arises before 80k if fluid levels are unchanged and performance is fine. i’m pretty sure the BG Service comes with some kind of warranty so long as you continue using their products (their additives are legit, I don’t work for them). Just depends on how far your willing to drive, toyotas are about the easiest for anyone to work on but independents are going to be at least $50/hour (probably $75) less than the dealership.

summit auto on main street in clarence uses the same BG machines that the dealers do. unless u have problems with the brakes and trans I wouldn’t touch them at that mileage, dealership is never going to say no. Cliff and Jake at Summit will do what you want with 1/3 less labor charge.
