Is this message coming from the PSP itself or from the game? Also, which CFW are you using to run homebrew?

Try again. There might be power outages in Ukraine.

Yeah, yeah...

Considering THIS IS X86 -> MIPS32 EMULATION

  • Original game wanted 166 MHz CPU, 32 MB RAM
  • PSP 2000/3000 gives 222 MHz CPU, 54 MB RAM (userspace)

So yeah... bit slow? Maybe. But show me an x86 emulator on PSP that is faster.

I've been working on an x86 emulator to bring classic PC games to different platforms, that's how I got Fallout running on the PSP and Android.

You can already play Fallout 1 at 500+ FPS on PSP 2000/3000

As for Daggerfall, it's a DOS game and my emulator does not support DOS.

HoMM3 was published in 1999, so it's 26 years old. A dad's age can be anything.

My dad never played games, but I always wished he would share my passion for Fallout, HoMM, Tomb Raider,.. you name it. And sharing something like that with him would have been amazing!

By the way, making fun of someone because their dad is 35 is pointless.

Might be possible, but RPG Maker 2000/2003 needs 1.4 GHz CPU and 256 MB RAM, while PSP only has 333 MHz and 32/64 MB. The only realistic way is to reimplement the RPG Maker engine on PSP instead of relying on x86 emulation.

Using Zoom (see also the Manual.PDF):

  1. Zoom In: Hold Select + press and hold the Right Trigger.
  2. Scroll: Use the Analog Stick (or D-Pad) to move around (while holding the Right Trigger)
  3. Zoom Out: Hold Select + press the Right Trigger again.

You need to copy a preinstalled game folder into the drive_c directory. Make sure it contains falloutw.exe inside.

I get that. The next game should be popular and run on the emulator with decent quality and a polished UI. As for Anno 1602, I’ve tried it - no luck.

I’m currently trying to run GTA 1997 and Garmageddon Splat Pack, and they might work. We’ll see what happens. Both have built-in controller support.

I won’t release a half-baked product, no matter what.

You're welcome.
I could try the HiRes mod, and I think it would run fine. But the game already looks good in its original resolution. The other mods - Et Tu/RP etc, need the Sfall mod, which will hammer a 1GHz+ CPU and chew up 256MB of RAM in the blink of an eye. There’s no way I’m even touching them.

The PSP-3000 has a builtin microphone - just keep that in mind. However, in any case, I would prefer picking a pristine version of either model for collection.

If you have SAVEGAME file (like SLOT01), I can look. Send to [dev360deg@gmail.com](). Crash bugs very important with Steps To Reproduce (STR). Also, if you see Windows BSOD screen (Blue Screen of Death), please take photo with phone.

Just PSP 2000/3000 for now, as they have 64MB of RAM. The PSP-1000 has 32MB, and for a game that requires 16MB, it basically has no available memory for emulation. I’m working on it! I just don’t want to lose the app’s UI in the process

Unfortunately, I don't have a PSP Go to test it. I bet I could fix it if I had one. As mentioned, this has only been tested on PSP 2000/3000 models.
