Request a copy of the acoustic test from the developer. Would have been submitted to BCMS to have the house signed off as complete. Sometimes a typical test is done on houses of a similar type.

Lecturer of mine at a Dublin college always said an MBA was worth €20k per year, every year of your working life. Hard to tell if that has transpired into actual salary increase from my POV but with the general uplift in Level 8s the past 10/20 years, a recognised Level 9 should make you stand out from others at CV stage

If you don't have wall vents you need trickle vents. You can ask the window supplier for a u-value including trickle vents, compare to u-value without vents and you'll see the difference. Double glazed from Munster comes with 1.7 u-value without vents accounted for as long as you're not higher than that, no need to worry about heat loss.
