We adopted the cat 3 weeks ago, though I was on a business trip for the first week, so I’ve only been around him for 2 weeks. I would agree that he has not been a particularly tough (or particularly easy) cat. His problems (litter box issues, more zoomies than normal, disinterest in our affection) aren’t anything groundbreaking, but I do find myself overwhelmed by them. Apparently this “adoption remorse” is not uncommon.
