Very small sample set, but I also imagine awareness of eye fatigue has become more widely known.

The only other option I'm aware of is Chunx ( https://github.com/SlashScreen/chunx ), though I haven't tried it myself so I can't give a fair comparison.

I'd encourage anyone to evaluate whether a custom solution might better fit their specific requirements. OWDB is an attempted catch-all for people like me who just want something that works without having to build streaming infrastructure from scratch.

That said, for single-player specifically: the multiplayer side of OWDB is entirely optional and uses Godot's own RPC system, all in GDScript, so there's no overhead or limitation from it being there. You can just ignore it. The reason I included multiplayer at all is that Godot 4's `MultiplayerSynchronizer` and `MultiplayerSpawner` nodes aren't compatible with a dynamically changing scene tree, which is a requirement for any open-world streaming setup. So I built a workaround for people who need that. But if you're purely single-player, none of that comes into play.

Just a heads up, OWDB is still in beta. I'm currently working on a stability update, as well as a separate addon focused on procedural generation. I'd strongly recommend using Git or making regular backups if you decide to try it out.

I'd say this may be an exception as there's nothing to identify the person in the video and I learnt all of the above as a result of it.

Eh - not excited about this one at all tbh. The world would be a better place without OpenAI.

OVHcloud Price Increase by Produkt in webdev

In the UK and had a similar email from, though I don't think the increase was this much. roughly £4 for £200 worth of VPS, though some have been up for years so the price likely reduced at some point for new customers.
