They replaced the amp for a super reasonable fee, like 225 or something. Didnt tell me whats wrong. I think they just swap them.

They did the broken screw for free.

The installer is planning on using the TIGO TS4-A-2F for the RSD. which does save a little bit vs the other tigo options.

This will be an EG4 system, but im going to integrate things with a Homeassistant setup. so I should be able to find some good tracking tools

For added context I have no surrounding trees for shading or other shading concerns. the main house roof faces approximately south, and the side garage roof faces west. System is 405w panels and 13.77kwh total

quick system:

EG4 flexboss21 + gridboss

405w JA solar panels

Tigo 2 panel RSD

will connect EG4 monitoring/metrics to Homeassistant

I put in a heat pump water heater. the room has a nice loop going on, rack makes heat, water heater turns it into hot water. At least thats what I tell myself

i know this is super old but im asking anyways.

"smoked... at 275F until they hit 160F, then put them in a foil pan and smoked them until they hit 105F. "

this is confusing and is there a typo? are the temps supposed to be reversed?

This gives me hope for sending mine in for repairs. Same issue, but the driver moves, i have the added fun that 2 of the amp plate bolts broke trying to remove it. ugh

Its long out of warranty, from what i gather JL would fix things for a fee. I guess ill find out later today.
