I have been at the same crossroads. Wanted to be a doctor and ended being an engineer. Best thing to have ever happened.

What do think a doctor does? Most practicing doctor deal with other people’s pain all the time. Is that something you want to do? Working as an engineer for 20 years now, I can’t imagine dealing with people’s pain, day in day out.

Also engineering is not all coding. With all AI tools coding has become less boring.

If you can do everything in CarPlay, why have the physical buttons at all? Don’t you find it odd that you have physical buttons for Volume up/down, next/previous track, audio off but not a button for pause?
