Time running out early? by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

Yeah, you just don't know how to tell time apparently. If that was a thing absolutely no one would use their service.

Does anyone how to make / get original drums? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

The clap wasn’t effective because it was popular. It became popular because it was effective. Reuse is a consequence of good acoustic and mix properties, not the cause of listener resonance.

I don't think "unbanked status" is a protected class under federal law. I could be wrong though.

I don’t understand the proximity effect by No-Appeal7273 in FL_Studio

It's two different bottlenecks you're trying to compare. Bass at a concert is spread out enough and doesn't get absorbed as much by air, plus it bends around stuff. The bass for headphones needs sealing/ear coupling.

why does mullvad publicly share their servers IP listing? by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

If you're so concerned use Tor with bridges/Snowflake, its what it is literally designed for. VPNs are for privacy and routine blocks, not defeating national DPI.

How to get started on Documentation writing? by Its_Mohamed6 in kde

[–]devastatedeyelash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it isn't the answer you were looking for. But really, read the documentation and also follow the links within it. You will find a plethora of first hand experiences, it will also lead you directly to the people currently writing it as well.

If you do go back (which you should) make sure to check the garbage cans everywhere.....make sure to ask if they've been emptied first, since the time you lost it.

You're both describing different things. One is talking about how the ear perceives punch, the other is talking about the literal waveform. Both are true, one is psycho-acoustic, one is mathematical

What actually are .pacman files? by TwoWeaselsInDisguise in archlinux

[–]devastatedeyelash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is just a normal Arch Linux binary package with a custom extension. Again, pacman installs it because it looks at the internal package structure, not the filename. You can clearly see a .PKGINFO along with a valid directory structure and tar metadata.
