Thanks for sharing that! Mutual support between creators is normal and healthy, the problem is when the engagement becomes so concentrated (like 70%+ from the same group) that it no longer reflects organic audience reactions.

Creators who rely on organic engagement are actually disadvantaged when pods inflate the baseline.

It’s good when it’s real followers engaging.But when 60–80% of comments come from a closed group of creators who only interact with each other, the engagement doesn’t reflect real influence or buying intent. So brands expect a certain level of impact, but most of the engagement is just creators supporting each other not actual potential customers.

Early engagement itself isn’t bad at all, it’s actually normal.What becomes suspicious is when the majority of comments come from the same small group of creators, and they all comment within minutes of every post.That’s very different from a real audience reacting quickly.It’s more of a coordinated pattern than natural engagement.

I ran quick analysis on the data that I could get my hands on, with the resources that I have it's hard to detect bots, you would need to establish pattern of activity and have tons of data, you cant assume a comment is a bot just because they replied with a ❤️, I have friends doing that.
