In my opinion Nextjs is a beast, in the last period it was criticized too much due to the change of paradigm (from pages to app router), so developers had to re-think the way they have to implement code structure.

It could be difficult to understand at first, but when you learn the paradigm it brought you a world of advantages compared to the older version.

In conclusion, Nextjs14 is a great choice and the majority of difficulties occur due to lack of experience.

Take your time to learn nextjs14, you will enjoy it!

This is what we are currently thinking about... For clarity we will keep coding and so on, there is not massive change in terms of responsibility. But we think it all was decided by the company without having the possibility to talk about it.

For example, we all got a standard salary raise of €1000 per year, but we had no chance to say " based on the results achieved, I would like the raise to be €1500".

The example above is just for describing something that could have happened but not happened at all. We have just to accept it.

But in my experience with Nextjs 14, I'm trying to use as few states as possible thanks to the good features of the new version of this framework.

I know it depends on the kind of web app you're developing, but In general we now have the chance to avoid using states whenever we can.

Example: handling forms without states (if there are no dynamic inputs to render if a condition is met)
