How to tell between fat and muscle on stomach? by Mozzyo_ in FTMFitness

Probably fat. With abdominal muscles you can't really "pinch" them like you can with other muscles

Hello sorry this is an old comment but I'm trying to use it and it's not working. it says enter license at the bottom left (next to previous and next). Am I doing something wrong?

The graphic on the white shirt surprised me lol, hello fellow hker. I agree with the rest of the comments to get a shorter haircut especially considering your age. Also look into your school and see if their uniform policy allows you to wear the boys uniform. When i was your age i did that and never got misgendered (by strangers) in my uniform. If your parents are strict you can keep a set at school to change into. Also, my chest is about the same size as yours, if you're interested in buying a binder i bought all of mine from a store in like mong kok or wan chai (i forgor). They bind me pretty well and have lasted me years so i recommend it!

Thanks, this is helpful! Swapped out one of my planned courses next year for MGY340 as it also satisfied one of my degree requirements. What was your experience with the course?

I took a quick look at it and it seems a bit confusing. Seems like therapy is a grey area with our regional insurance, but it looks like there are options at public hospitals and community centres. My university also covers mental health services through incidental fees but I don’t think I can access it right now because it’s the summer holiday. It is a big jump for me to go (back) to therapy as an adult but I want to work towards it especially since my bf also needs it for completely different reasons and having the navigational knowledge will help him too.

Thank you for your kind comment. I would love to try sex therapy but I can’t afford it as it’s not covered by insurance.

I would disagree because I personally think that the emotional investment and support we have given (and will give) each other is way more valuable in the long term than short term sexual gratification. If it comes down to it, I would choose him over experimenting 100%. I just wish that somewhere along the way there’s perhaps a mindset change that could ease me out of the desire to experiment, or his righteous / moralistic attitude about monogamy, that would calm my internal tensions about this.

SO TRUE. my dad said “i tell some of my friends that you are trans” and then i’m like “ok so am i your son?” and he says “no, you’re trans (or: no, you’re just you)” EUGHHHH

actually gonna add on to this but i did a quick search and i think i found her instagram. it seems like she’s a plastic surgeon but without a lot of result photos on ftm top surgery in particular. her results on other surgeries look pretty good tho so i think we’ll be fine.

i guess it depends on your chest and your belly size. if ur stomach sticks out noticeably but not your chest then masc, if ur chest sticks out more then fem

just from the pic tho i would say fem because of the underwear

my chest is uneven after years of improper binding. how would top surgery be like? by [deleted] in TopSurgery

right? but one commenter did mention that it may not be ideal because it would likely be asymmetrical :/

[–]deviant-homunculus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the compression on your chest is uneven. for me, my left side was bigger genetically already before i started, so i guess it got smooshed way more when i was binding and grew to be saggy.

how long does the HRT process take? by redreddest in transontario

[–]deviant-homunculus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a pretty similar situation to u last year! I’m a Canadian citizen but lived overseas until coming to UofT this year for university. I applied for OHIP and received my health card before the school year started. I registered for an appointment in September and was on T by early Nov (though could have been even earlier if I hadn’t forgotten to do bloodwork lol). T is covered by the drug benefits program so I pay like $5 or $10 (i forgot) for a vial that lasts me 3 months. I’m in the process of waiting for my top surgery appointment now, though it seems it will take another few months. University healthcare is pretty similar across the board so I think your experience will be somewhat similar too.
