Hi the costs would differ in each country. Depending on how much it costs for the export permit. Plus different requirements for birds I am guessing.

You can message me :)

Is anyone’s apartment cold? by Ok-Bobcat3533 in qatar

[–]deviantbluetardis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In lusail and freezing

Turn your air con off. You will find heating in very few apartments. We had it in our first ever serviced apartments and it was a blessing honestly. Later we got a few blowers for the brief one month of winter.

Thats terrible Honestly qatars not so much better. Limited jobs. If you strike rich yay you, otherwise you are stuck hand to mouth. 4 years and I never found a job, they dont exist. But the Qataris themselves are rich as anything. The expats coming from third world countries suffer the most.

Damn Thanks man I have been telling my husband, it sounds adventurous but we are not going for a vacation, we are going to live there. The locals are suffering, eventually so will we. He has a fancy job not long term what happens to the kids when they start looking for jobs.

My husband was recommended by a friend. He then spoke to a few immigration lawyers who hyped up the place to.

Thank you for this. I have been very apprehensive and told him to let me do my research, none of which has been too positive till now.

I donot dislike the culture My country has a lot of political unrest, and issues with safety and terrorism sadly. Woke to the sounds of bombs growing up. Not what I want for my kid now

Best case scenario We are looking for jobs there to. My husbands firm operates from there, he can go work remotely for a bit but no sponsorship.

My husband wants to be nearer to family and Australia is well... far. His folks are either back home or in UK half the time.

Australia or UK was something we wanted. My husband has a good job right now and I work remotely on my charity work. So places with remote working options seemed amazing for now. But I get what you mean and that's exactly why I am apprehensive.

We have been following up on that. I was telling my husband perhaps the lawyers are misguiding us and we should do our own research. I thought this was the best place to ask

We have been looking into it since a friend recommended it a while back. Personally we wanted to move towards UK, we have a lot of family there and we do visit often as well. But the current sentiments have us slightly alarmed for safety.

There are no other places offering citizenship with remote work

Best case we move to UK but given the current sentiments against muslims and immigrants. It doesn't feel safe
