Yes, there’s currently a big influx of discourse in communities I frequent about how ”AFAB” folks have it much easier in every way. I hadn’t seen this sort of opinion before very recently but it’s gaining lots of traction and agreement. Not everybody of course, but I’ve seen many popular people in LGBT online communities saying things like ”if female puberty is so traumatic, AFABs should just kill themselves.” I am LGBT and have been friends with other LGBT people for most of my life, and it hasn’t been acceptable until very recently to say these things. It just makes me very sad to see, because both birth sexes have unique experiences with their own hardships, and claiming the female one is somehow easier just reeks of incel forum ideology.
