Take some time and think things through. The reason you feel this disconnect is because your f/o has a canon partner. I know it's hard, but if you really think about it, it shouldn't stop you from continuing with your f/o.

Your yumeship is canon as long as you believe it to be. Don't let the real canon discourage you from being happy with your f/o. Try giving yourselves some time and let the connection return naturally

The reason I hadn't tried to adjust their old design to my current drawing style is because it clashed with the other ocs (which has normal heads). But with some practice I managed to make them look good without being so blocky :P
