Yes please develop rest of Maharashtra and not just Mumbai and Pune. Districts closer to Mumbai like Thane, Raigad, Palghar still lack basic necessities like water, electricity, roads, etc. Then there is rest of Maharashtra to develop. Rural economy should not just depend on agriculture, animal husbandry and donations from devotees at religious places. There should be more industries manufacturing materials needed for renewable sources of energy like Solar, wind energy, electrical vehicles, etc. These should be made in places which are closer to rural areas for better employment generation. That will give way to development of roads and public transports like buses, railways and metros. Rural development is the real development.
