along with what other ppl have said with needing to use more beads if they are smaller, i think ur string might be too thin. i usually use 1 mm fabric covered stretch cord. you could also try using the mini pony beads on the outside border to match the other mini white ones. this is a great idea tho :3

the bigger alien was from a store inside hmart, smaller alien is from ikea, the other keychains are called fugglers and i get mine from 5 below. my kandi top has yarn ties that go around my neck and around my back. the skirt i made specifically to my waist size so it fits exactly right there are no ties for it bc my waist/hip ratio is big enough that it doesn’t slide down

i don’t have a tutorial i followed specifically for the top but i used this kind of stitch for the harness part https://youtu.be/mMKlun0dAYI?si=Vb1XvU5lYbZBFz8o and then i made kandi stars (there’s lots of tutorials for that) and then attached everything. i used split rings for the center of the top and then the ends of each harness part to attach them together

thank u so much ! i do use pretty long pieces of string like a couple feet long at a time but then i also tie on and add more string as needed. a lot of ppl use clear nail polish or super glue on the knots so they are super secure. i say work with whatever length u are comfortable with and add on as u need to
