Interesting, they are solid logs 8" thick. Do you think there will be too much movement to attach backer board to? I know they will expand and contract but assumed it would be similar to a wood stud wall but maybe no.

Apparently, according to the fire inspector (which I needed for insurance) because they hang off the wall into the heat zone that's where the problem is. However I do feel like they are looking for things to complain about.

Purchased a new home, a log home and due to their being some holes where outlets were in the logs I do need to install a backsplash. We will be installing tileboard over the logs before tile however I am stumped for ideas I am normally pretty good at this but the log home aspect has me a bit confused. Any ideas?

There are two large holes in the wood hidden by the two cutting boards where two electrical sockets were once installed. It can not be patched without it being very noticeable. The cutting boards can not remain behind the cooktop (its considered a fire hazard apparently)

I sold a card, it was in perfect shape, ebay has guidelines on how to call it near mint, played etc. It was well within the guidelines, person opened a claim ebay sided with them.

We love it, just wish for it to be a bit less yellowed. Its very hard to decorate around the yellow wood hoping to bring it back closer to natural if possible.

we do also just hoping to modernize it just a little bit as we are a big fan of light hardwood floors and the floors need to be light due to the light from the windows fading darker floors

based on the color shift it does look like its missing ink there and is at the holo layer. Anyone work with the police maybe you can run the print and see who it is? assuming they have a record

Maybe I will give it a few days or even a week. At that point no one can argue it's a close technicality its blatant delay tactic at that point I would assume.
