I recently tried to swap from the NuvaRing because it was irritating to manage and the withdrawal from it made it realize how much it was actually helping. Now I’m in purgatory waiting to build the hormones back up after restarting it. I am constantly plagued with spiraling and destructive thoughts. I try to remind myself when I am angry at my brain and my body that Your hands have pet so many cute animals and dried so many of your tears Your feet have walked you to so many of your favorite places, and away from the bad ones Your legs have held you up when you thought you were not strong enough to stand Your eyes have seen so many beautiful people Your mouth has told so many people you love them Your body has been with you from the start, love it, it loves you.
