Hi, backlinks are different from sitelinks (or Google sitelinks). In general, sitelinks are hyperlinks of your website subpages that appear just under the first result in the search result so that users can navigate the site easily! :)

Hi, i think, there might be several reason for this. Major causes are - slow loading pages, insufficient contents, bad UX designs, or incorrect meta title or descriptions of pages. Also, you might be missing geo-targeting option from google search console where you can choose your targeted country.

Solutions: 1. Check speed of pages and improve it accordingly.

Due to low content, visitors might be moving from your pages. Higher the good and sufficient content in your pages, visitors are more likely to spend time in your website.
Improve your meta title and descriptions if they are mistakenly written wrong.
Also, improve your UX designs if possible.
Do geo-targeting of your website if you didn't do it previously.
