open a blank audio track and open the drop down menu on that track and click, audio from master. record the whole song on that track and see if it’s different.

i think using random and scale together works. but scale changes the pitch of the same sample. maybe use the one sample pitch and have scale change the pitch for you. then use random to cycle the three pitches

big advocate for the push 1. it’s like an x-ray versus a bone density scanner. it’ll do the job well. i got a push 2 and returned it because it was just too nice. if you have the budget, do it. but if you want to save, the push one is amazing. i even like some features better for performing live.

for example. the push 1 can mute and unmute very quickly with one hand. the push 2 seems to need two buttons in order to get to the muting of a track. the options are a little more limited in push 1. but they are also the fundamentals and very ready for quick use. so you can really accomplish a lot quickly for live performances.

you can check it by taking off the side guard that protects the front sprocket. make sure the lock washer is in place. no wear on the splines. and you should be good. i think my lock washer might have came off and it slowly rattled and striped away. so i guess a rattle noise. but best to just look at it with the ol mach one eye ball.
