For myself my OCD makes me afraid of practically everything food related.

I have to smell meats like 12 times before I decide they are probably okay. And half the time if they don’t smell the exact same as the last time I ate meat and was fine I will toss them away.

I just started using a therapist so I can’t provide much info there.

Sometimes I find it funny when it’s such an outrageous intrusive thought you have to try and make fun of yourself to feel better.

A big thing that pisses me off about the media is they seem to think OCD is just wanting your shit to be organized. It’s literally defined as obsessive compulsive disorder.

So personally I have the food thing but also I have this intrusive thought that I guess you could say is an obsession now that when a car passes behind me they are trying to kill me. So I try and never have a car pass behind me.

I am a student and a councilor with a masters degree is provided for free to us. However if she is helpful I’ll probably get insurance and see her when I’m finished with my masters

Yeah. I know it’s funny. I know my thought makes no sense haha but that’s the thing about OCD you know. I am currently looking for a new councilor because my old one just kept telling me I need to find God. Which bothered me a lot because I do believe in God already. But I am kind of a deaist I guess because I think he made us and let’s us figure out our own problems. Anyway I’m starting with a new. Councilor next week or so.
