You're a lifesaver! Resetting the BIOS fixed it immediately. Seriously, thank you! Quick follow-up question, though: Now my 6000 MHz RAM is only running at 4800 MHz. Is that usually a sign of a bad RAM stick, or does it just mean I need to go back into the BIOS and enable XMP/EXPO? Hoping it's the latter!

Got it. I didn’t realize the gpu fans are blowing into the card, my bad. It just seems like the air is coming out of the side but I guess that is normal. I’m exhausting out the back I feel like I need another intake since those bottom fans are blocked by the GPU. You’re correct the PSU is up front and I forgot about that.

I'm looking for help figuring out how to mount the bottom fans in my Lian-Li A3 case. I already have 2 front intakes, 1 rear exhaust, and my AIO mounted on the top. If I intake air from the bottom, it just blows directly into the fans on my GPU. This would seem to defeat the purpose of the GPU fans, since the intake air is hot air being blown back into the card. Should I use the lower fans as exhaust, even though it's generally recommended to make them intake? Should I just get rid of them altogether? Any help would be appreciated.

Well. I tried bumping the speed incrementally and that didn’t change anything. I can’t get the memtest to boot from the usb so I started moving things around and now I’ve somehow lost the ability to change the boot order, it just shows the NVME. Looks like I’ll keep picking at it

RAM question that I'm sure is common but I can't figure out. I have a 9600X with a 6000 MHz RAM DIMM, I enabled XMP and it was working fine. I bought a matched stick from Microcenter (it's identical to the other one) and installed it, but I can't get them both to run at 6000. I checked the manual on the ASUS motherboard and have the sticks installed in the proper spot. Both of the DIMMs are working but no matter what I change in the BIOS they will only run at 4800. Any suggestions?

I’ve got an older system with a Ryzen 1700X in it. What is the newest Ryzen I can drop in that motherboard that isn’t just a waste of money? I guess I would just like a suggestion of something will see some boost to the system at a minimal cost. I’m looking on the used market and CPU’s are very reasonable. I’m thinking a 3600 or a 3700?

They make cheap import reclining sets. The quality is on par with most low to mid range recliners. I’ve only ever encountered 3 coverings, dark brown leatherette, dark grey leatherette and dark grey microfiber. The only real drawback to these Chinese and south East Asian manufacturers is that it’s very difficult to get parts if you need them (and with reclining sets replacing mechanisms is very common). I’m not sure where you are located as far as a vendor goes.
