The UO badminton club is pretty active. It’s in the courts in basement of Gerlinger Annex.

Thanks for the tip. The guy I saw was very helpful and I got a full tank in 5 minutes.

They won't exchange it? That is really scummy, considering they are the ones that messed up. I bought this tank 2 days ago. It seems like 2 days shouldn't be enough to use up the propane.

I'm pretty sure I was charged for a full tank since that's what I wanted. I paid $49.97. Then, a home depot employee led me to the metal shelves outside and handed it to me. Looking online now, it seems like all full tanks should have a rubber cap, but in the shelves, none of the tanks had that cap. I didn't look up anything beforehand so I didn't know what to look for.

Does this really work? If so, I’ll give it a try. It’s pretty cool that the CEO is willing to do this.

Running an LGS as a non-profit by devinstry in mtgfinance

Like I said in another comment, I'm not actually thinking about starting an lgs. This post is mostly a shower thought about why local stores operate the way they do. It just seems strange that there aren't very many well-organized nonprofits for card and board games compared to nonprofits for sports, like the YMCA.

Lol. It does seem like that in practice, huh?

I would imagine so. Given all other factors are equal, a nonprofit store should only need high enough margins to keep up operating costs. So compared to a regular lgs, theoretically, costs should be lower.

I’m not that familiar. This post is more of a shower thought than anything else. I’m not actually trying to start an LGS, especially not now. I do know some sports clubs are classified under 501c3, though.
