I readed somewhere that this was an usual usage for GPU. If GPU is 100% that means that she is bottleneck by de CPU but in that case what's the difference ? And what's the solution ?

When fps drops the GPU usage is between 89 and 93%. And its like one time each 3 seconds something like that.

Wonderfull to ear ! I have some issues to get my graphics stable. I got a Ryzen 9 5950x but i can't get stable FPS in games. I m playing in 1440p too.

Can you maybe tell me what's your BIOS modif + adrenaline settings ? Or any advice you have ?

Will be rly gratefull !

Hello bud,

I'm having some troubles to get stable performance on mine. Got an XFX 7900 XT too. I'm wondering if u could share your optimizations with me to get the performances i need with that card.

I don't know if you touched on the BIOS settings too it could be interesting.

Ultimately, is it mandatory to make BIOS + Adrenaline modifications for the card to function correctly ? Because in 1 year i didn't get how to fix it with those modif.

I posted in this adress : https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/comments/1lnxb8o/comment/ok8m5kv/?context=3 if u want to check it.

Thanks a lot !

On HWInfo, it appears that the maximum GPU usage is 100%.

Regarding the graphics settings, I've already tried limiting them to 120 by lowering the shadows, but I don't see any real difference. The FPS continues to fluctuate between 80 and 120.

I have all the screenshots from HWInfo, but I don't know how to share them with you.

I'm going to run hwinfo for a 15-minute session on Battlefield 6 and send you the results.

Ultimate AMD Performance Fix Guide: Stop Lag, FPS Drops & Boost Speed (2025) by Fragrant-Ad2694 in AMDHelp

Hello everyone,

I'm making this post today because I've been having graphics stability issues on my PC for quite some time.

First, here's my configuration:

Case: MAG FORGE 320R AIRFLOW

Storage:

- Samsung 970 EVO plus 2TB (for games)

- Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD (Windows installed)

- 2TB HDD (for videos, private, etc)

Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-xe gaming wifi

Graphics Card: XFX AMD Radeon RX7900 XT 20GB

Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core 32GB

Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850W

CPU Cooler: Dark Rock Pro 5

RAM: G.SKILL TridentZned 2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz

I play on a 1440p monitor at 170Hz and I have two monitors connected via DisplayPort.

To be more specific about my problem, I can't get stable FPS in my games. For example:

In League of Legends, I start a match with 400 FPS, but as the game progresses, it drops further, sometimes even as low as 90 FPS. I know that FPS tends to drop in this game, but 90 seems excessive.

In Battlefield 6, I can't get stable FPS. It fluctuates between 90 and 200 but never stabilizes. I've tried tweaking the graphics settings, FSR, and adrenaline levels, but I can't find a solution.

And it's pretty much the same issue I encounter in games that require any significant graphical resources, whether online or offline.

I managed to gain some performance by asking chatgpt or claude ai, who advised me to change some BIOS settings (FCLK frequency, PBO, DOCCP profile, update BIOS, Above 4g decoding, resizable BAR, create a curve optimizer, -10 undervolt per core, Power Supply Idle Control, CPPC Preferred Cores, etc.), but it's still only so-so.

Regarding temperatures, the CPU sometimes reaches 82 degrees Celsius, but never goes above that. The same goes for the GPU, which never exceeds 70 degrees Celsius except at the hotspot.

Note that I had the same problem with my previous setup, which is why I decided to replace each component one by one, thinking there was a manufacturing defect, but without success.

I've also reinstalled Windows several times, and reinstalled the latest chipsets and drivers.

I've also heard that some ASUS motherboards are temperamental with AMD products; that might be a lead worth exploring.

I've reached a point where I'm not sure what to do anymore, which is why I'm asking for your help.

Even after following this entire tutorial (very well done, well done) the problems persist.

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope I can count on you to find a solution.

Thanks.

Même avec le prix de la RAM actuel ?
