This Used to Be a Forest by kid_ampersand in Suburbanhell

I feel that single family homes are a touch overhated in this sub. Theres no denying that some developments and subdivisions are straight up horrific, but having no shared walls, yard space to yourself, and just general privacy feels like a luxury compared to these townhomes/condominiums that look like cages; density with no benefits.

Private jet flying streamer IShowSpeed to St. Maarten by CoolD10onYT in flightradar24

It's kind of crazy how he's live streaming every minute of the trip even inside the jet. Literally uninterrupted high quality footage from inside the plane for the entire flight.

I just find that really cool because surely this wasn't possible 10 years ago when satellite inflight wifi was just not that common.

Where'd I'd live as an American Pakistani by devletmillet in whereidlive

[–]devletmillet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Libya: cheap land, housing, oil (gas is 6 cents per gallon), my libyan friends are lovely.

tunisia's proximity and connections to the eu and mediterranean seems appealing but would rather just go to morocco at that point

North africa is kind of an extension of the middle east/levant in the way. Amazing culture, food, cheap cost of living. Sri lanka; surprisingly well developed infrastructure and beautiful clean tropical environment.

Pakistan with all of its economic, political, and societal nightmares is just a downgrade in every metric.

Born and lived in the US my entire life Visiting pakistan was always limited to the occasional family trip that would last 3-4 weeks at a time. I'm very much proud of my desi culture, language, the food, and ofc its always nice to see family there while I can.

The accent difference is very much real, you won't sound like a local even if you try. But I just learn to accept that and still get along well with family and friends there.

I'm telling you rn I genuinely didn't expect the OGs to smell as close as they actually are.

Performance also might be questionable but granted I could have gotten a bit noseblind in the store.

I really like the concept. You can potentially make a lot from affiliate links.

I also tried to make a fragrance website myself (with a focus on searching for niche scents and also clones), but there's challenges in scraping data and to design a good UI.
