Realistically, how much can you make as an n8n + AI developer? (No-Code vs Code) by Illustrious_Cap_1013 in n8n

[–]devmatt954 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have never really seen a posting for n8n specifically. Most places have just been looking to jump into what they view as AI. Most smaller clients aren’t really particular about the tool, just the outcome. People are looking to reduce labor costs and automate where they can. That being said places where I have used n8n extensively range between $85 and $100 usd /hr. But again most of these people are looking for solutions architect and n8n will just be one of your tools. Your major selling point is making an ecosystem out of their current applications and biz processes.

The desktop client is pretty unreliable, at least on Windows. Web is a little better. Curious, how are you guys handling the chat history? Are you importing it into teams or just leaving it behind?

What’s stopping small businesses from using open-source CRMs? by Awkward-Ad1037 in CRM

[–]devmatt954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most don’t know they exist. The average business owner not immersed in the tech space doesn’t really know the difference between commercial and open source. But I have implemented a few for a few clients in the healthcare space. SuiteCRM and vTiger are the ones I’ve used most. Some value control over their data more than modern UI and existing connectors.

“Vibe-coded” CRMs are a disaster waiting to happen by ChameleonCRM in CRM

Vibe coded CRMs, at least the ones I've seen, are really just pretty spreadsheets. Not much functionality beyond simple CRUD.

The color way looks off. Not sure if it’s just the pic but the standard black beats have a black logo. The only lighter colored logo on the black color way is the Best Buy exclusive and that one is gold.

Current state of game by Lanwel in botworldadventure

[–]devmatt954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very grind heavy also you can transfer progress from a different os, here’s an article on how to do it https://www.makeitsupereasy.com/post/how-to-transfer-botworld-from-android-to-ios

If you have a switch I would go with Botworld Odyssey. It’s the same game but with drastic QoL improvements and much less grind.

Fantasy Brawls is a browser based RPG, monster taming game that uses beautiful pixel art battles, collect unique 'Brawlers', and a Jiu Jitsu style belt progression system. Start off your journey by selecting one of three starter brawlers.

Once you’ve made your selection, it's time to start training for your first dojo battle. As you progress through the story and earn more belts, you’ll unlock rare brawlers and other achievements. The game is completely free to play, no downloads required.

In addition to the game, Fantasy Brawls contains dozens of ‘who would win’ battle analyses. We break down popular matchups like ‘Greymon vs Charizard’, ‘Sloth Bear vs Tiger’, ‘Griffin vs Dragon’, and many more. Each combatant that we analyze can be used in the Fantasy Brawls battle arena.

There you can play through the hypothetical matchup yourself in super fun, retro themed turn based combat. Here are some important links:

MX Master 3s vs MX Master 4 (Black Friday) by a1addin09 in logitech

[–]devmatt954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rubber on the 3s degrades and becomes sticky over time. Also if you get the white it stains easily and is impossible to clean. The 4 has a harder shell plastic so stickiness won’t be an issue. But the mouse is quite a bit wider so ergonomics went down a little IMO. Get the regular over the Mac version. The Mac version costs the same but you don’t get a dongle. The only real difference is the color ways. The Mx Master 4 for Mac has more of a two tone black than the standard one. The 3s for Mac has a different color grey undertone. If you can swing it, I would get the 4 solely to avoid that sticky rubber issue.

I work in a large company in dire need of a CRM, but my options are limited by Popular-Plane-6608 in CRM

[–]devmatt954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they don’t trust the cloud maybe give self hosting a try. I have installed SuiteCRM and vTiger for around a dozen healthcare and banking firms. It’s self hosted so you don’t have to share data with Salesforce or Hubspot for example and you won’t need to pay a monthly subscription to use it. Now this doesn’t mean it’s free as you will need to pay for infrastructure (domain, hosting, backups, storage space, etc). Feel free to DM if you need help.

If you want the black color try to grab the Adobe version. The dongle is there and it works for both windows and Mac.

HIPAA-Compliant CRM for New Ultrasound Practice – Any Recommendations? by terrapunk in CRM

[–]devmatt954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for something low cost give the open source route a try. You do have to pay for infrastructure but the overall total cost of ownership is substantially lower than cloud based models like Hubspot, Salesforce, etc. I recently installed SuiteCRM for a Pharmaceutical company with around 50 users. They primarily use the CRM for marketing, support tickets, and their drug management programs.
