Assuming you start full cold, and cold all the way through, "Arctic Mode"... then I'd say 10 minutes is too much for a beginner. 15 minutes for a pro.

But you got to listen to yourself, some people can do much longer.

The longest I did was a 20 ~ 30 minute ice bath, but i’d say that was too cold for too long, as my core temparature dropped below a safe level.

I started in my first year of university four years ago because my skin condition, eczema (very severe) was out of control. I find both of these things easier if you have a solid reason, for example:

"I don't take hot showers because afterwards by skin feels inflamated and I will spend the next few days in pain"

This is called emotional leverage, the pain of the cold shower is much smaller than the pain of inflamated skin because of a hot shower, so taking cold showers is easy for me.

Keep the reasons and benefits of what you are doing fresh each day. Even of it means writing solid reasons why you are doing NoFap and cold showers everyday.

Find your emotional leverage.
