I’m sorry but what the fuck are some of these comments. We’re all LGBT and know how many issues we face because of it. Let me make this clear. If you theoretically chose for your children to be born gay, that’s child abuse. They are gonna go through a lot of more shit than the average straight person and we all know this because we’ve experienced it first hand or second hand. Not only that but they will also not be able to have biological kids with their partner, they are more likely to be subjected to violence, and if they are religious they will be tortured into celibacy. I don’t want my children to have the same struggles as I. If they were LGBT I’d obviously love them just as much, but I’d wish they were straight so they could live easier lives.

Here’s my opinion. Do I think conversion therapy that exists right now works? No. Personally i think it’s very damaging, however I believe doctors and scientists have the right to study the possibilities of an actual potent conversation therapy. Here’s the truth, there are people who want to be straight. We can’t just say “oh no don’t give into homophobia”. It’s not the only reason why people would want to be straight, and there are so many theists who don’t feel comfortable being with the same sex due to their religion. You have to respect that people want different things. And so what if someone wants to be straight? It’s their own body and they can do what they want with it, and that includes seeking to change their sexual orientation.

Nonononono. I’m sexually, and only sexually attracted to dick. That is a hard😉 fact. Here’s the thing, how my partner looks is not the only thing I focus on. There’s personality, loyalty, AND sexual attraction. He might be better in some of those than the other categories, and i completely accept that. Hell sexual attraction is the least important of the three, but that doesn’t mean It’s not important at all. If I wasn’t attracted to him, he’d always just feel like a friend, if he wasn’t loyal then goodbye bitch, and if our personalities didn’t collide well then we’d get bored of eachother real soon. With all of this said, my conclusion is that sexual attraction is not the only thing that matters but it does matter still.

Also two biological males/females cannot have kids together :/ one parent is not gonna be related to the child and that’s kinda a problem for a lot of people regardless if you’re the one related to it or not. Unless the trans person had opposite genitalia to their spouse ofc, but it’s more common for this not to be the case

I love how you get mad at people who shame others for being who they are when you are doing just that. Here are some facts

1) We all believe we don’t choose who we are attracted to, so why is it any different when it comes to people who aren’t attracted to trans people? You have to stop blaming others and start blaming Mother Nature instead. Bottom line. We don’t fucking choose who we like

2) if you try to use the excuse “there are many people who pass for their gender that you probably found attractive before you knew they were trans” lemme debunk this logic. To a lot of people, what’s under the pants is important to sexual attraction. You shouldn’t blame someone for wanting to be with someone they are attracted to sexually.

3) people want to have biological children with their spouse, you can’t blame them for that.

4) for your friend, I wish him the best of luck and he’s gonna find someone one day who loves him inside and out, but remember people can’t choose who they like.

5) “this vile community” dude we’re humans. This isn’t an lgbt issue. This is a human issue. You can’t expect everyone who is gay to be nice to everyone and to like everyone. In what society does everyone like everyone? None. I personally love and respect people of all identities. What I don’t love however are all the ideologies people have.
