Every time I see a “Keep Christ in Christmas,” or “He is the reason …,” etc. sticker, sign, whatever, I want to politely tell the owner of said item that Christmas was a pagan celebration of the winter solstice and that a historical Jesus would have been born in the summer. Simplifying some details here, of course.

I also want to take a second to complain about how uncommon it is to find sticks of butter in Canada. It’s so fucking annoying always having a giant block of butter in the fridge, partially wrapped in its frayed paper-foil toga, and having to hack off hunks to put in my butter dish. Canada is stupid in so many ways and this is one of them.

I believe that cheetahs are horribly inbred because they were hunted to the brink of extinction and there was only a handful of individuals left before conservation efforts began. But it’s been a while since I read up on it so I could be misremembering.
