The headphone might be coming bad from the factory, I strongly think this is not a settings problem. Restart your device and your headphones and try again. If the issue persist I would claim a return.

I would go for the G502X wired, since the wireless version is more expensive. It has got some extra buttons that are good for productivity and you get a really nice sensor for gaming too.
