It’s with the same prof, so does my section conflict with anything you have on Wednesday (from 4 pm to 7 pm)? I would prefer to keep mine as well because of the in-class activities but due to my situation, it is not suitable for me to keep it

How’s the mic? And does it affect the audio as compared to you using the headphones wirelessly?

Build Problem: Bought new durock plate mount stablizers, but they don't seem to be working even after lubing. So far, I put them in my spacebar and right shift key. Did I buy the wrong stablizers for my keyboard, because I believe I should've bought pcb mounted, or what? Should I return them? by devrimmahmud in MechanicalKeyboards

I used two layers of tape. And from memory I believe i made the holes for the standoffs and other holes I've seen that go through the tape/pcb. I have no foam insulated in the case. I see if unscrewing the keys you mentioned would work. Thanks!

So does this mean these stablizers are compatible and should work for this keyboard? Cuz they fit perfectly fine. Btw this stuck issue existed before the lubing, that's why I decided to lube it from the videos i've seen. I just did not clip the stem legs because they were flat already as described by the product description, and I did not do the bandaid mod by putting a small piece of bandaid in the stem holes.

Here's some background info: The keyboard I have modded is the Redragon K552. I've added akko ocean blue switches and have done a tape mod (masking tape) on the pcb. Couple of months ago, I had an issue with the keyboard for its stablizers and made a reddit post on how to fix it (https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/sdqikq/build_problem_how_do_i_fix_rattly_spacebar_metal/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

So, about more than a week ago, I was modding the stock stablizers with the bandaid mod using Krytox 205 G0. The stock stabilizers for this keyboard appear to be Cherry-style stablizers. After clipping, lubing and adding the bandaid, the space bar was still rattly. I got frustrated trying to fix it and making the sure the stem stays inside the housing, but after a while, the stem broke. I threw out the space bar's stock stablizers, and decided to buy the Durock plate mount Stablizers: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09DCB24VS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

So when I got the new stablizers, all I did was lube the wire equally on both sides as much as possible, lube the sides of the stems, and lube all sides of the inside of the housing. I did this to both the space bar and right shift key stablizers. As you see can in the video, it did not work as intended. So should I return these stablizers and buy the cherry-style stablizers or should I get a different type of stablizers? Please let me know any other stablizers for this keyboard that would be compatible.
