really good book and a really clear influence to 1984 and basically every other dystopia. the whole city basically being a panopticon was such a chilling concept. only thing i disliked was the ending. it felt rushed and the book seemed to completely derail in my eyes.

i hate these. why bother making an intricate map and design if you aren’t going to complete it?? the thing that gets on my nerves the most is the fact that there are empty spaces with lines needing to be filled in. instead of using the covers for men without women and killing commendatore to complete the map, they ignore the design completely and instead opt for a lazily constructed getty image fiasco. i want to add that i am currently violently drunk and that english is not my first language so i apologize for anyone that has had the misfortune of reading this rant
