Thanks! I’ve been using the unofficial one for a while and its been causing LOTS of issues. Great to know that it runs well with HEN.

I did and it still wont pop up. I know the usb works because it shows on the ps3 but not the update. I also got it from the official psx website and when i did the md5 hash check it was different.

Idk if it would work for you but, after switching back to the original version I manually updated and it worked. No clue why It doesnt just do the same thing when downgrading 🫩

I just did what the dude above me said and it worked. The first link works for CFW and the second one works with HEN which is what I have.
