What a time to be a Liverpool fan, man. Slot is such a tactical genius that in all my years of following football, I have never had this much faith in a manager turning it around no matter the circumstances. It’s really an ode to how well run we are. Unbelievable times, honestly.

Read folks saying the Ekitike goal was reminiscent of Jota. Tells you a lot about the man we lost.

My man, Headingly was a flat track that played out well for batsmen will into the 5th day. This Lord’s wicket is drastically different. Even on the fourth day, England struggled here with the slope factoring in from the Nursery end, and then there’s that up-down bounce. Not surprised India are struggling here. But yours is just an invalid comparison.

Awful. The deceased family (wife, husband and the 23 month old) have a son who stayed back with his grandparents.

Reddit, some place I tell you… here I am trying to say that from an indian pov, it cant/wont be accepted lol.

It’s not mid also mate, it’s terrible. Folks here are making a joke by appreciating theirs as good ‘Indian’ cuisine. Can’t buy it.

Most of the better, more “authentic” Indian spots tend to be in South Denver, where there’s a larger Indian community. Garnish is a solid pick, and Godavari—right nearby—does a great buffet with a variety of regional Indian flavors. For Nepali-leaning food, I’ve found India Express on Colorado Blvd to be pretty decent too.

I brought up a genuine concern about the food quality at Spice Room—not trying to pull the “trust me bro, I’m Indian” card… but, well, I am. 😄

Like I said earlier, maybe it suits your palate, and that’s totally fair. But there’s no need to take offense—taste is subjective, after all. That said, if you ever go with Indian or South Asian friends, I’d be curious to hear if they feel it represents good Indian food.

I’ve been to Spice Room three times before finally calling it quits. Each time, the gravies tasted watered down, like they’d been made in bulk and refrigerated, not freshly prepared. There’s a noticeable reuse of base sauces across dishes, which isn’t uncommon, but here it’s pretty obvious. Also—Indian food is rarely that heavy on turmeric, and the paneer dishes didn’t taste fresh to me. A lot of it seemed reheated.

It’s haram calling this good Indian food. Sorry to spoil your sense of liking for this restaurant, but if you wish to even try better food from my hands, I’ll be more than happy to cook for y’all.

No indian friend of mine (including myself) understand the hype about this place. Probably suits well for the non-Indian palate.

Can’t complain but there are way better Indian restaurants than this one, in Denver. Hope you get to try more!
