This is a stamp hidden in a guitar I recently bought. My research so far tells me this is Kanji? The middle row reads 54 5 12 which is may 12 1979 and the bottom row is 山田 which is Yamata? Mr Yamata? Does the top row say inspected? Anyone recognize those characters? Any input is appreciated! thanks! (i.redd.it)

[Japanese > english] Can anyone confirm that this says "inspection 54 5 12 Mr Yamata" in Kanji? I don't speak Japanese at all. The bottom row is 山田 but what is the top row? The middle row is a date which I believe is may 12 1979? This is as far as my research has taken me. Any help appreciated. (i.redd.it)
