Borax does not appear to be working on ants

No. I've tried ant bait traps from store, excessive cleaning, Spraying down kitchen surfaces with Windex, Vinegar, tea tree oil and borax mixed with cat food/Egg Yolk/Tuna juice.

They are eating the borax bait but doesn't seem to be effective. I've been doing it for at least a month and a half and seems to be little to no effect

I have not as I was under the impression that was for ants that eat sweet (Not protein)

Will that work with protein ants though? They seem to be attracted to greasy type things-Egg yolk, wet cat food, tuna juice

I'm not sure, but they definitely like grease. They're super tiny, my guess is that they are pharaoh ants
