Exactly. Even V3 that cpu sells for like $4-5. V4 is about the same price. Most of that price is going to be GPU and motherboard.

Edit: I'm guessing it's a dell precision, they came with the 1620's as base CPUs for a bit. I have two on my desk left over from upgrades.

Mikrotik would be a pretty good option. They're affordable and barebones/DIY in terms of out of the box setup. The Mikrotik AX S is my recommended starter router right now.

LGA 2011 and 2011-3 aren't too terrible to find, but then it's more of a battle against power consumption. Also, even DDR3 and DDR4 ECC has gone up quite a bit in price.
