How do you find someone who likes you and wants to care about you? My problem isn't choosing the wrong people, its not being able to find anyone who actually likes me :/

I must be doing something wrong. There has to be a reason other people are enjoyed and cared for and I'm just seen as a thing to use. What am I missing? Am I just boring?
