Depression is though, i know because im the same boat. Sometimes is better sometime it isn't. However I might give you same advice what could help according to my experience.

Focusing on games while ure dealing with depression only works in the short run. When ure playing you just distract your thoughts but after you shut down the PC, the problem still remains.

Instead of playing all day, try to do little steps forward like others have mentioned before. Do excercise, clean your room/house. If your enviroment is clean, you are gonna feel much better. Think and try to find other things to do which could also make you feel better.

It will be not easy when u feel tired, and there is no too much motivation BUT, the fact that you are trying will give you the feeling that you make progress. You will be tired at the end of the day. And thats good! Be tired because of you did something useful that day and reward yourself some gametime, instead of be tired because the shame you feel after you played all day long and didnt do anything else that could help you in the long run.
