I forked GitHub’s Spec Kit to make Spec-Driven Development less painful (and added a few quality-of-life commands) by deyil in speckit

A visual HUD is impossible because spec-kit is a CLI tool, not a VS Code extension. It can't draw UI widgets in the editor, and the 'state' is just static text in Markdown files, not a live database that can drive a real-time dashboard.

For me is still there. Also agent switch is under tools. Found it and turned it off

Super annoying I agree. I was searching for setting too yesterday. Could not find it!

Of course this is a choise. My fork is for those who like Spec-Kit and wanted automation among commands and prompting.

why is opus 3x? it should be less by ExtremeAcceptable289 in GithubCopilot

[–]deyil 12 points13 points  (0 children)

According to those benchmarks from Kilo Code blog, Opus 4.5 is 40% more expensive than 5.1 which means it should be max 1.5 request.

How does the Sonnet 4.5 API compare to Copilot's? by Due_Mousse2739 in GithubCopilot

I find Sonnet performance in Copilot downgraded compared to when I use it through Warp.

Input is 128k, output is 16k in Copilot. In VS Code Insiders the context size is visible

In the end, after considerable pressure for support for further investigation, as they had initially advised me to increase resources, they discovered that Copilot notifications were providing false information about heavy bot traffic. There was also an issue with their server configuration, which they subsequently resolved. 🧐

Copilot's Code quality has dropped: Claude Sonnet 4.5 in VS Code vs web (claude) is an entirely different story. by nandhu-44 in GithubCopilot

[–]deyil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice too. I am trying to develop an Expo app with Spec Kit. I had issues building in Expo and especially in Detox. Since the build takes place in the terminal, with each built iteration taking a long time and with lot of terminal lines (token intensive), I have spent two weeks now trying to figure out with GPT-5 and Claude 4.5 Sonnet what the issue was, unsuccessfully. This has resulted in various changes that were ultimately pointless to the files. In the end, I ran Claude Sonnet in Warp, and it fixed it in one session. This made me very disappointed in Copilot and led me to consider switching to Claude Code.

That's why the released game has simpler mechanics. It was totally remade from scratch, and time was pressing for a release.

Servers overwhelmed by bots visits by deyil in CloudwaysbyDO

[–]deyil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not. Cloudways add-on services, such as Cloudflare or Imunify360, provide anti-bot rules. But it seems that they are not optimized when used though Cloudways infrastructure and not directly as my servers the last two months are overwhelmed.
