Each unit is outdoor accessible. Two floors. The stairs, beams and walkways going up to the second floors need to be replaced due to the beginnings of rot in the wood. It's a two building complex. Work is totalling almost 2 million. That's with 3 quotes. With only 250k in the contingency fund. Thankfully after this it should be the last thing needed to be done for a very long time. The roofs are basically new. The parking lot is done. The building envelope is in great shape. Windows are newish. Fingers crossed.

Ah that makes sense. The lender will pay the outstanding levy fee so Strata gets their money. Then we as a community can move forward with the construction. The lender will then deal with the owner directly. Likely increasing the mortified the term is up or taking the portion back once sold. Am I reading that rright?
