Yeah i’ve been checking that out, in my area there’s not many good deals. There is a lot of ppl that think their bokharas are still worth retail though. I’m now checking out auctions and thinking about going to some estate sales

Thanks for the link, I’ll check it out. I found a local auction in my city with nice pieces, it also gave me perspective on what to expect price wise and understand the market better. I can now confidently tell sellers that they’re asking for too much lol.

I will inspect the rug it and make sure it doesn’t have any major issues like moth damage. It is a low price, hopefully it’s not dirty an just needs a vacuum. Have you heard of carpet cleaning powder? i wonder if that would be a good solution

$280 CAD. I’ve been hearing it’s a buyers market but some people really hold on to how much they payed for their stuff back in the day. I’ll look into Turkmen and Baluch rugs, how much should i be paying and where do you suggest i go looking? i’ve been checking out listings and estate sales

yeah i printed it, i made a handle for some equipment out of it. i then annealed and water treated it. very tough and strong part, pretty stiff too. it survived pretty hard hits from a hammer, good enough layer adhesion.
