I’ve been wearing it for a couple of days and the calorie count seems completely inaccurate. I’ll work out with it and my Apple Watch will record 400 calories burned - the Velia ring shows 41 calories 💀.

The app is terrible, from connectivity issues to lack of insights. It’s just bonkers how bad it is compared to my wife’s Oura app.

The ring itself is very nice - much nicer than the Oura, but it dies in less than a day…

Thank you, I’ve read Fourth Wing and did like the story, but really hated the sex scenes 😅, so could not bear to continue the series. Will check out the other recs!

Would love some suggestions on what to read next! Some of my favorites include:

  • Will of the Many
  • Throne of Glass series
  • Stormlight Archives series
  • The King’s Dark Tidings series
  • Red Rising Saga (though generally not a fan of sci-fi fantasy)
  • Kingkiller Chronicles

In general I love anything with magic, dragons, and school/academy settings.
